Yes, normally this would be “Thirsty Thursday” but I don’t think anyone in their right mind would enjoy drinking oregano oil. So because oregano is so much fun to cook with, I have decided to double up on cooking recipes this week! So be prepared for some more really great recipes.
This is one of my favourite recipes!
Oregano Parmesan Chicken
Ingredients:
- 2 cups Greek oil salad dressing
- 1 1/2 cups finely grated fresh Parmesan cheese
- 2-3 drops doTERRA oregano essential oil (to taste)
- 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Mix together salad dressing, Parmesan cheese, and oregano oil.
- Spoon mixture over chicken.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until chicken is cooked and no longer pink.
- Serve over rice.
- Enjoy!

BBQ Chili
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 pounds ground beef, browned and drained
- 1 cup of your favourite BBQ sauce
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup crispy bacon, crumbled
- 2 cans baked beans, drained
- 2 cans pork and beans, drained
- 1 can kidney beans, drained
- 1 can black beans, drained
- 2 cups water
- 1 toothpick swirl doTERRA black pepper essential oil
- 1 toothpick swirl doTERRA oregano oil
Instructions:
- Combine all ingredients together in crockpot.
- Simmer on low for 8 hours.
- Enjoy!
